These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Cloudfrica file-sharing platform ("Cloudfrica", "we", "our", or "us") available at https://cloudfrica.net. By using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Cloudfrica is an online platform that enables users to temporarily upload and share files securely via a unique URL or email. Files are stored for a default period of 7 days, with optional custom expiry periods selected by users.
To use Cloudfrica, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are using the service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
By using Cloudfrica, you agree to:
Use the service only for lawful purposes
Upload only files that you own or are authorized to share
Not upload or distribute malicious, illegal, or harmful content
Refrain from using Cloudfrica to harass, abuse, or harm others
Ensure that files do not contain prohibited or suspicious formats (e.g., .bat, .sh, .exe, .js)
We reserve the right to block or delete any file that violates our policies or appears suspicious.
Files are stored on Cloudfrica servers for a default duration of 7 days, unless the user selects a shorter or longer retention period.
After the expiration, files are automatically and permanently deleted.
We do not guarantee recovery of expired or deleted files.
When users opt to share a file via email through Cloudfrica, we temporarily collect and process the sender’s and recipient’s email addresses solely for the purpose of delivering the download link. These email addresses are not used for marketing and are deleted after the transfer expires.
Cloudfrica may log IP addresses of uploaders and downloaders for:
Ensuring secure file transfers
Preventing misuse, fraud, or abuse
Monitoring traffic patterns and enforcing restrictions
These logs are stored securely and are not shared or sold.
You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. By using Cloudfrica, you grant us a limited license to store and deliver those files to intended recipients under the terms of this agreement.
The following types of content and behavior are strictly prohibited:
Executable files like .bat, .sh, .exe, .vbs, and similar
Viruses, malware, or any malicious software
Pornographic, violent, or hate-driven material
Copyright-infringing content without authorization
Violation of these rules may result in the immediate deletion of files and potential account or IP banning.
Cloudfrica is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
Uninterrupted availability
Accuracy or reliability of file delivery
Suitability of the platform for specific user needs
We disclaim all liability for any loss of data, file delivery failure, or service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloudfrica and its operators shall not be liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, revenue, or reputation
Damages resulting from unauthorized access or use
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the platform for any user who violates these Terms or misuses the service. Cloudfrica may also block IPs or limit access without prior notice.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Techfrica LLC (Cloudfrica’s parent company) operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
